Do I choose my wedding entertainment music?
Yes you can, your wedding entertainment supplier will take your requests and build a play list based on the type of wedding celebration you are planning. Or you can choose your preferred type of music – classical, jazz, Top 40, 1980’s, etc, and let the professionals create the perfect atmosphere.
How long should I have my wedding entertainment for?
It’s nice to have some music whilst your guests arrive, during pre-dinner drinks through to the close of your reception. Your venue may specify a close time. In the event you’d like to keep the party going, most entertainment providers are happy to play extra hours and will have a schedule of charges to do so.
How much does wedding entertainment cost?
Wedding entertainment charges vary according to the number of musicians, length of time and distance to the event. Some will offer extras like photobooths, custom lighting, fireworks, smoke machines and the like. Many offer packages which can be customised to suit your vision and budget.
Do I need an MC?
A MC, or Master of Ceremonies, can sometimes be your DJ, entertainment professional, friend or family member. They’ll help to keep to your reception timeline and introduce special parts like the bridal party, the people giving speeches, cake cutting, first dance and the like.
