Sydney’s 5-piece party/rock/dance band, hYjInX, offer high level musicianship, outstanding vocals, quirky humour and the ultimate in dedication to showmanship and fronting. In fact, their polished sound, party atmosphere and ability to fill the dance floor is exactly what sets them apart from the rest!

FIVE vocalists contribute to the band’s unique ability to cover most genres of music with rich full harmonies. Alex’s powerful voice belts out almost half of the band’s repertoire. Sharing the lead is Steve Cuninghame (Keyboardist); whose forte is his ability to reproduce the vocal inflections of many male artists, and also create flawless recreations of songs on the keys. Danny on bass, Rick on drums, and Jonny on guitar are masters of their instruments too, and all provide backing vocals, providing hYjInX with impressive live sound.

hYjInX perform songs by artists such as: Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Europe, Stevie Wonder, Robbie Williams, Michael Jackson, Huey Lewis and the News, Simple Minds, Maroon 5, Kenny Loggins, Train, Bruno Mars, Van Halen, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison, The B52’s, Queen, Whitney Houston, and Guns’n’Roses. Plus add some Aussie artists like: AC/DC, INXS, The Screaming Jets, Pseudo Echo, Split Enz, Paul Kelly, and many more.

The band’s ability and to delve into a huge range of styles allows them to alter their show and image to suit hotels, clubs, out-door events, private and corporate functions. 80’s, 90’s, Aussie, and Rock themed shows are available, as well as a 3-piece trio, 4-piece, or even a 7-piece line up on request to cater for smaller or larger requirements.
