The Tea Room

With capacity for 200 guests seated and 300 cocktail, The Tea Room is well suited to host weddings of all styles. Dedicated event staff work closely with you ensuring your reception details have been meticulously planned. Wedding ceremonies may also be held in the room.

The Tea Room QVB is located in the heart of the city, in Sydney’s iconic Queen Victoria Building. There are magnificent photo opportunities throughout the building and within the venue. The centre dome offers a stunning stained glass backdrop.

A range of packages can be tailored to your requirements and budget, with the Head Chef and Sommelier available to customise a food and wine menu suitable for your individual needs. Site inspections are available by appointment Monday to Saturday and viewings of the room set for a wedding are available on weekends.

Winter Wedding packages are offered during the months of June, July and August.
